We Write for HR Magazine about Women in the Workplace
Recently our CEO and Founder, Lilah Raynor, wrote about findings from the Logica® Future of Money Study for HR Magazine. In the article “Empowering Women in the Workplace through Financial Guidance,” she explores how employers can enhance women’s long-term security and overall well-being. Women face unique workplace challenges, including struggles to achieve equal pay and career advancement. But beyond promotions and compensation, women seek financial knowledge and assistance from employers—such as saving for financial goals, optimizing 401K plans and understanding insurance needs.
Logica’s Future of Money Study reveals that nearly half of women consider changing employers for better income and benefits, reduced stress and improved career options. Women also experience significant stress from balancing work and domestic responsibilities, leading to physical and mental health issues. This stress extends to female entrepreneurs who face additional challenges like accessing capital and building networks.
In the article, Lilah emphasizes that employers have a valuable opportunity to support women through financial literacy and assistance, which can reduce stress and improve retention. Providing comprehensive support tailored to women’s unique needs in both employment and entrepreneurship is crucial for their overall well-being and success.
