Logica’s client wanted to conduct foundational and exploratory research to uncover awareness and understanding of ESG investing to develop and communicate its investing tool for investors of all types.

Logica, working closely with the client company, designed a comprehensive study that included both qualitative and quantitative research among a broad range of investors to explore, define, and measure what ESG and sustainable investing means and what tools would be most helpful in choosing investments that align with an investors’ values.  The sample design was deliberately inclusive to allow for input from inexperienced and experienced investors to dig deep into what is important to investors among environmental, social and governance factors.

 

Impact of The Study


The study brought in-depth foundational research to the organization and expanded the understanding of true perceptions of ESG and ESG investing. The results were shared broadly in the organization with both product development and marketing teams and were used to inform product development and positioning. In addition, insights were shared in a white paper and at conferences to communicate the current state of understanding of ESG investing.
