Logica is Headed to NY for the Corporate Researchers Conference

We here at Logica are getting ready for the Insights Association’s Corporate Researchers Conference (CRC) coming up September 17-19 in New York! We love this event and how it is designed for insights leaders and practitioners looking to elevate their impact in today’s #mrx world. Every year, CRC provides great learning opportunities and, of course, the networking is the best part—having the chance to connect with colleagues and clients in one of our favorite places! Networking starts the show off right, with a welcome reception on Monday night at Rosie O’Grady’s, hosted by the Central Atlantic Chapter of the Insights Association.

It looks like this year’s CRC conference will cover some hot topics, including connecting with today’s evolving consumer, mastering inclusive research practices, leveraging AI, and behavioral economics and semiotics. The first day of the conference we are planning on catching the Insights Association IDEA Council speaking on “Accessibility for All! Guidance to Make Research Inclusive of People with Disabilities.”

Other sessions we can’t wait for include Dr. Eric Solomon’s keynote on Wednesday, “From More to Better: What it Means to be Human Right Now,” where he will explore how to reclaim our humanity and authenticity in an AI-driven world, offering practical strategies for overcoming digital distractions and embracing meaningful human connections. And AARP will be continuing the AI topic in their session, “AI and the New Age of Travel” later that same day.

Also on Wednesday, Discover is presenting on evolving their brand health tracking program into a comprehensive tool that guides strategic planning and fuels insights across the entire business; and Bloomberg is going to talk about “How Actionable Insights Drive Customer Centricity.” We are especially looking forward to the session with UBS, “At UBS: Invest to Advance—Research to Understand and Build the Future of Multicultural Wealth,” a subject we explore here at Logica. They’ll be examining the impact of generational trauma on wealth, the goals for expanding generational wealth, non-traditional high net worth households, and strategies for minimizing unconscious bias in research with diverse, hard-to-reach investors.

Thursday we hope everyone will show up to join Women in Research’s Marion Elliott and the presentation of their prestigious MRX Diversity Champion Award, what a great way to start the last day of the conference! There are lots of great talks on Thursday, and we will be sure to catch “Shaping the Future” with industry leaders Kerry Sette of Voya Financial, Muthu Kathiresan of AB InBev, Natasha Hritzuk of Warner Bros. Discovery, Nicola Blue of American Express, and Khary Campbell of Comcast. They will be discussing evolving trends in market research, strategies for maintaining client trust, and leveraging technology to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

We hope you are also headed to CRC to learn from industry pioneers, discover the latest tools and leave with actionable strategies to future-proof your company and your career! Can we meet up? Reach out to us to let us know if you’ll be in New York during the show!
